MyAntiques contracted me to make a facebook "app". With video uploads. And video conversion. And data management. And...

MyAntiques approached me with the idea of running a competition on facebook. The competition would involve users uploading a video of themselves describing what they "would you do if you could go back in time".
As I have created systems for video uploading and processing before this kind of site wasn't a problem for me to build. In this case however I further expanded my video conversion engine which now effectively handles video scaling, aspect ratio management, solid thumbnail extraction, stereo/mono adjustments and hundreds of other minor fixes and features.
The MyAntiques facebook app is tightly linked to facebook allowing users to "like" entries and invite their "friends" to vote on their uploads.
If I had more time to work on this project I would have created a flash webcam based video recorder, but alas time did no allow. Maybe for the next project!
